The Naomi Street project is a workplace transformation for Publicis Groupe, a longstanding client and creative partner of the studio. With an existing lease coming to an end, the client used the transition as an opportunity to move beyond a conventional office refresh and instead reimagine the workplace as a more cohesive, experiential environment, one that supports collaboration, reflects the culture of the organization, and creates a welcoming setting for both employees and clients.
The project converted an underutilized, multi-tenant office building into a single-tenant creative workplace defined by openness, connection, and access to daylight. At its core is a double-height open work space that anchors the building and establishes a clear sense of shared identity. New circulation and visual connections link levels and programs, allowing teams to remain connected while moving fluidly through the space.
Designed to support collaboration at scale without sacrificing focus, Naomi Street offers a diverse range of work settings that accommodate different modes of work and team structures. The space is intentionally flexible, allowing the organization to grow and adapt over time without the need for constant reconfiguration. This adaptability is made possible through a series of strategic structural interventions, developed and coordinated by Terrain, which unlock openness and spatial continuity within the existing building.
Throughout the project, the employee experience is treated as a primary design driver. Daylight, openness, and shared spaces are complemented by wellness-focused amenities and access to outdoor areas, reinforcing a workplace culture that values comfort, balance, and connection.
Naomi Street exemplifies Terrain’s approach to workplace design: using thoughtful transformation and technical insight to create environments that support people, culture, and long-term change.
