We are nationally recognized experts in new earthen construction. Our firm initiated the development of national earthen building standards, and provides design and consultation services related to earthen construction, including homes and commercial buildings, earthen building forensics and collaborations with artists, designers and manufacturers. Our work piloted the use of low-carbon earthen masonry that exceeds California’s energy and seismic standards and is resetting expectations for fire-resistant construction in the state’s wildfire urban interface zones.
